if hes faster than superman that means he could easily beat him right?
>>

Depends which Supes, Prime lmaos at any force Flash uses even A FUCKING ATTOSECOND
>>
>punch a brick wall at lightspeed
Fastest way to break your hand
>>
I dunno OP, you're faster than a backing-up semi truck, could you beat one of those?
>>
>>151827444
Should Flash be able to beat Superman? Yes, he easily should be able to; especially when you take into account how powerful he really is. Will he? Doubtful, since he's a smart, powerful character written by idiots with no imagination or understanding of him.
>>
Superman will hard counter him with "greatest hero in dc plot armor" and break his speed force with on punch.
>>
>>151827463
at lightspeed? broken bones are the least of your worries you flash-fried radiation burst

>faster than a backing-up semi truck
>more powerful than a strong black woman who don't need no man
>look, it is this guy
>is he a bird? no!
>is he quite plain? yes
>it's anon!
>>
>>151827463
Would it break?
>>

every atom of your hand would disappear in a blaze of gamma rays.

Speed is relative and all forces are equal and opposite. A speedy hand hitting a brick wall is exactly the same as a speedy brick wall hitting a hand.

Most Flash stories never show Flash powers being used in convincing ways, unlike Superman, so there is no visual evidence that Flash is able to do any of these things.
>>
>>151830722
Yes, would actually cause an explosion.
>>
Flash's limitation is typically on his ability to manipulate the Speed Force. It would be more accurate to say that Flash can *be written* to be stronger than Superman by giving them momentarily stronger power to use the Speed Force. But usually they don't have that ability.

And it kinda makes more sense that way. How is Barry going to learn to use a power that is so unstable and can trap him in another dimension or erase him from reality or blow up and kill everyone around? It makes more sense for the Flash family to typically not actually try to master using the Speed Force until it's absolutely necessary.

It would be extremely painful.

Super strong character breaks Newton's 3rd law of motion constantly.
>*crickets*
Super fast character does anything.
>UMMMMM ACTUALLY!
>>
>>151831334
>Super strong character breaks Newton's 3rd law
do they though? Every super strong character is also super durable so they can take the reverse force just fine.
>>
>>151831334
Umm ackshually Superboy projects a field of telekinetic force and so it makes perfect sense that he isn't knocked backwards from attacks.

>>151831384
Unless Superman weighed a million tons he wouldn't be able to punch anything without flying backwards. Durability isn't the concern, just mass. Not that it matters.

>Unless Superman weighed a million tons he wouldn't be able to punch anything without flying backwards
oh that's an easy one, he can obviously generate massive force on his own body (somehow) to not only fly but cause himself to accelerate amazingly fast. So he just uses that same power to force his body to stay in place as he punches a massive thing.

Like how if you roll a bowling ball forward, you won't go flying backwards even though it's decently heavy, because you're using your muscles to counteract that reverse force and keep your body in place

Now obviously it makes no sense that he can just fly by wanting to, but if we grant him that one thing then all the Newtonian issues are resolved just fine.

It's why Death of Superman was bullshit. Any nonflying super strong villain shouldn't stand a chance against Superman even if they're actually twice as strong as him. It would be like if Mike Tyson fought a version of himself who's twice as strong but only weighs 5oz.
