I can’t believe that my country, Brazil, had such high quality motion graphics from the 1970s to the 1980s, and none of it was made with computers. Everything was created using Oxberry cameras.https://vimeo.com/1010755860https://vimeo.com/100739939https://vimeo.com/100790276All of these look amazing, and you can really see how much time and effort went into them, even with such simple tools. This can also be an interesting case of lost media, since one of the commercials shown in the demo reels is lost or unavailable on the internet. I believe Brazilian television in the 1970s had many well produced commercials that stopped airing years later, especially because very few Brazilians owned VCRs at the time. The first VCR produced in Manaus appeared in 1982, and before that, only a small number of people had VCRs imported from the US or Paraguay. I imagine that by the end of this year or next year, more commercial breaks from 1970's Brazilian television will be discovered and uploaded to YouTube.
