family guy looks so much cooler in the storyboards, the show should do a spongebob and be more expressive in animation.
>>151836972that costs money numbnuts, and no one watches this dogshit for the animation

>>151836972the bad animation is what makes family guy funny anon
>>151837121No, the writing makes family guy funny, like all writer driven shows. The animation's quality is irrelevant to the jokes.
>>151837148the "road to" episodes have good animation. specifically the road to the multiverse. Family Guy gets shit on way to hard, they're only ever trying to be funny. Even if they get preachy they cut it off with a gag. Family Guy is the only adult show on air that actually has jokes, and tries to have fun.
Sadly we can’t have adult cartoons that look expressive or fun looking, even the Simpsons in its past few seasons with its "Disney animation" makes its characters incredibly stiff and not giving them the smears or squash and stretch that makes that animation appealing, making them move like real life theater kids rather than actual Disney characters.Family Guy still being animated on paper feels like a huge waste to me given how it can easily switch to rigged animation and nobody will notice.
>>151837121Family Guy is also the reason all adult cartoons look like this anon, it’s artstyle did longterm damage to adult animation.
