Parental guidelines are weird and inconsistent. The 2011 anime adaptation of Hunter x Hunter was rated TV-14, while the 1999 adaptation was rated TV-PG. Apparently TV-14 is a more mature rating than TV-PG, but I genuinely can't tell the difference.
