I refuse to believe Pan-Pizza went through an old cartoons are better phase in the late 2000s. That phase never existed for anyone. Even in the late 2000s, Chowder, Flapjack, Phineas and Ferb, Total Drama Island, Hannah Montana, iCarly, and Penguins of Madagascar were loved

I was online in the late 2000’s and I can confirm it was an extremely common sentiment that any cartoon made past the 90’s was gay and terrible. You can probably still find a lot of old rant videos on YouTube from around that time about the state Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon were in if you search for them.

Dude, I'm 26
Yeah the "my childhood > your childhood" thing was everywhere especially for cartoons

I thought everyone loved Chowder, Flapjack, iCarly, Hannah Montana, Total Drama Island, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008), and Penguins of Madagascar back in the day

The late 2000s was the worst fucking era for Cartoon Network.

It wasn't supposed to be even, and that's the biggest problem with that era of CN. By the time the Boston scare happened, it brought damage control to not only Aqua Teen, its creator, nor Adult Swim, and its affiliates Turner and Time Warner, but also Cartoon Network itself, the network that aired the Adult Swim block to begin with. Jim Staples stepped down as CEO, and he was responsible for greelighting a lot of amazing shows during the early-to-mid 2000s, even if a lot weren't perfect. Once Stuart Snyder took over, things turned out for the worst

Way to ignore the other cartoons that aired during that time that everyone is glad they forgot about, straight up disproving your point.

My Gym Partner’s a Monkey, Camp Lazlo, Squirrel Boy, The Problem Solverz, Uncle Grandpa. And that’s without mentioning Steven Universe.

>Gym Partner, Lazlo, Squirrel Boy
Those shows ended by the time Flapjack came out and Total Drama Island came to the states (Yes, I know Gym Partner had a few episodes left, but three of those four were dumped on one day and the other episode, a thanksgiving episode just aired later on silently). Problem Solverz and Uncle Grandpa weren't even from the late 2000s

Why are you laughing? Hannah Montana was HUGE in the late 2000s. Everybody loved that show. iCarly was like Nick's biggest show alongside SpongeBob. Everybody loved it in the late 2000s as well. Penguins of Madagascar was very popular, and Chowder, Flapjack, and Total Drama Island were staples of Cartoon Network in the late 2000s and Clone Wars 2008 series is considered one of the best Star Wars media that isn't the original trilogy of films
