Jim Staples stepped down as CEO, and he was responsible for greelighting a lot of amazing shows during the early-to-mid 2000s, even if a lot weren't perfect. Everybody loved it in the late 2000s as well. Penguins of Madagascar was very popular, and Chowder, Flapjack, and Total Drama Island were staples of Cartoon Network in the late 2000s and Clone Wars 2008 series is considered one of the best Star Wars media that isn't the original trilogy of films
