I haven't had interest in Gunnerkrigg since the two Annies fused (because that shit was kinda lame) until this chapter.Has the comic been worth reading outside of this psycho bitch? She seems really interesting.
I wonder if this symbol on her forearm is supposed to be the one shown on her upper arm in the previous page. The way she's talking, it sounds like she's making one super spaghetti-code glyph, but the positions don't match up.

This is one of those cases where less is more. It would have been simple to have noa throw off her shirt and see magic runes covering her. They start glowing in one panel and in the next she is yoked. Everyone but the densest moron would understand what is happening. So it HAS to be something weirder than that, but because tom loves subversion and anticlimaxs i cannot predict it,
