>>151854004Here's a qrd on Mampato (the series Rena is from): >Mampato (kid protagonist) wonders about how advanced and paradise-like life in future earth will be.>He decides to use his time and space traveling belt to go to the 30th century, but at the last moment he decides to go to the 40th century instead.>He decides to also visit North America, thinking tnat it will be the most advanced country on future earth.>Mampato arrives to a world overrun with strange plants and animals, there's no future cities or future people in sight.>He finds a girl (Rena) about to be devoured by a giant tortoise, so he quickly rescues her and they both run like hell from the angry reptile.>Rena explains to Mampato that this strange, crazy dangerous jungle is his future earth, a millenia after a huge nuclear war that destroyed all civilization and covered the entire planet with radiactive fallout, which caused mutations all across the globe.>Mampato cries after being told that mankind is long gone as all humans mutated into different kind of creatures which hate all other mutants, as every tribe thinks they are the last "real" humans and everyone else is just a dirty mutant, and right now the only real human being in earth is him.>Rena also explains to him that her tribe (white haired humans) tried to kill her after discovering her mutant telepathic abilities and she needs his help to travel south as she often can hear some kind, friendly thoughts calling for her.>The kids start a long journey through a ravaged northamerica (some ancient cities like New York can be seen, all decayed and still so radiactive that even getting close means death).

When Mampato thinks he's a goner, he awakens safe and sound inside of a modern flying ship with a restored Rena at his side.>The ship is being piloted by telepathic mutants (CHILEAN mutants to be exact) who picked on Rena's telepathic cry for help and immediately went to their rescue.>The mutants also roast the kids for being so reckless as to try using a dinky boat for such a long, dangerous trip and especially because Mampato could have used his belt to just teleport to the south, Mampato calls himself a cretin for not having thought of that.>The mutants also explain that while the nuclear fallout devastated the northern hemisphere, the southern one received only a little radiation and it caused the mutations to take a good direction: all Chileans developed telepathic abilities and with the power to combine all of their minds into a single one, they quickly deveploed their culture, science and such to incredible levels, so they built a paradise in earth and once the rest of the mutants all over the planet are ready, they will share their science and gifts with them.>Rena decides to stay with the telepathic mutants, who welcome her as one of them, and after a farewell kiss, Mampato goes back to his own era.
