Why doesn't anyone do it better? Daredevil is an actual Catholic and nobody can name a single Christmas related thing about him. Superman is a jolly guy and nobody remembers any of the Christmas things about him. Could you imagine any other superhero having an entirely Christmas-themed movie like Batman Returns?

Batman is generally a more dour property so it's a lot more fun to make a Christmas episode based in that kind of setting, and because it's more fun conceptually the writers have more fun and produce a better script.

Penguin & Mr. Freeze - winter weather
Two-Face - naughty or nice
Arnold Stromwell - Christmas Carol style redemption
