Why did /co/ hate this show back when it was airing? I heard that it used to be hated and that if you posted it on 2008 /co/, you would be mocked and it only had one thread when there was a new episodeDid those who hated on it even gave it a chance? I admit the show went downhill later on, but I think the first season was good. The other seasons had a lot of flaws in their own ways

>>151862722The thing is, none of the other characters in that first season really acted inconsistently. Heather was consistent, Leshawna, Bridgette, Geoff, Trent, Lindsay, Owen, and Duncan all acted pretty consistent too in terms of how they reacted to others and Izzy was consistent in how nutty she wasGwen would go from liking people to suddenly not liking them. True, Duncan and Courtney were often on again, off again, but that made a lot more sense. There was never a reason why Gwen tended to flip flop what she felt about others in season 1
That first season is fucking iconic. A classic in its own right.
