Someone give me a single good reason I shouldn't absolutely despise her after how much she ruined Treetrunks wedding.
>>
>>151868468
Mmmmm, big full PB tummy...
>>
>>151868587
Treetrunks is an even bigger bitch

Thinly veiled fat thread?

This happens to so many shows now that i genuinely think writers just don't like their MC's anymore.

Side characters become beloved by the audience. Nott and Jester pretty much conquered "Mighty Nein".

A lot of the time what happens is that a writer creates a main character that has to be beholden to a certain set of limitations to ensure they remain acceptable by the audience, laboring under the belief that no one wants to follow a main character who wins too easily or has too complicated of a backstory. These static MCs remain a vessel for the audience to explore the world, but they rarely have anything resembling deep personal drama, which is important when writing compelling and intriguing stories. Thus, when writing side characters who do NOT have these limitations, the writers are allowed to write deeper and more complex characters, ones that are far more interesting to develop. And thus, the MC gets left by the wayside in terms of character development.

Rumi was the best MC in "KPop Demon Hunters" because she had the most compelling dynamic. The half-demon. The secrets, the family angst, the hypocrisy, the identity issues, etc.

Sometimes bad people make a good point.
>PB ruins a wedding where nobody is doing anything wrong
>treetrunks calls her out on it
>PB jails everyone for the mere suggestion she was wrong and receives no punishment for it.
Youd have to be the most delusional PB Stan to think she was in the right there.
>>

treetrunks is just a retard, PB is an actual sociopath and the only reason she isn't treated as a villainous character is because she's the showrunner's heckin girlboss favorite
>>
>>151868880

Out of curiosity, how is PB a sociopath? Do tell.
>>

She tortures people for fun, feels no sympathy, and punishes people who question her.
That fits the bill pretty aptly.
>>
>>151869037
She's a high-functioning cluster B type with flexible, albeit present, morals. Hell, all of the gum people are fucked in the head in some way.
>>
>show has literall psycho ruthless villains
>people prefers to shits on female characters
>>
>>151869443
You can shit on multiple characters at once, Einstein.
Other awful people existing in the series doesnt stop PB from being a horrible person.
>>

But anon she's a female character so none of her negative traits and actions should be actually taken seriously or held accountable for.
