Sometimes I try to think of less glamorous things like that in order to worldbuild. Like symbiotes that eat specific alien food are able to do different things or it enhances them for a short while. I'm glad we don't see the Gargan design too much anymore. The eyes were always kinda lame looking. The symbol growing large and crazy is ok but I think mostly Venom designs should have some straight edge precision because of Eddie imparting his attention to detail and ideals about being a lethal protector onto the symbiote.
Agony's shade of purple always was appealing. Not sure if the color scheme of the other LF symbiotes should be tweaked to look better or not as a team.

Hmm. I bet Yandere She-VenoMJ would start out in a form like pic rel except maybe with the costume looking like SM3 black suit or classic black suit. She'd do good deeds like Spidey and Peter would appreciate it. She'd come on too strong and then retreat in order to get Peter to seek her out again as she'd recognize she'd gone overboard and was impatient.She'd also stalk Spider-Man and see that it is actually Peter. She'd probably be confused but elated. Imagine a glamorous MJ that is glamorous because the symbiote makes her so. MJ is still naturally hot but her family is poor so she normally looked unkempt and a bit femcel-ish during high school. She is thought of as a normie who is in a lot of clubs and has fun but keeps to herself about everything about herself. She hangs around a lot after school as she doesn't want to go back home to face the wrath of her father.I also think she'd try to touch Peter at least once so the symbiote could read his memories and she'd find out why Peter does what he does. She'd creep Peter out with how much she knows and it would slowly dawn on him that he's in trouble. She would grow more vengeful against the criminals and Uncle Ben's death would make her just more zealous in punishing them. Her experience with getting rid of her father for abusing her would run counter to Uncle Ben's message and she'd have to fight Peter and she doesn't see that it does. Except you know Peter will confront her later on. MJ didn't murder him but she probably blackmailed him and got him sent to prison over something he didn't do.MJ still has some desire to prove him wrong and humiliate him for being abusive over the years.MJ also starts to collage a bunch of images in photoshop or from print media of Spidey and maybe takes some photos of Peter using Peter's own camera and also takes photos of herself for Peter to find. This obviously weirds him out but also makes him learn how to shot web. THAT kinda web.

Or a story that explores the dichotomy between the enigma force and symbiotes. That might be the only bit of lore I liked that Cates created since both symbiotes and that force have a limited set of rules and a lot of vagueness associated with both, so I'm fine with them being opposites. Just sucks Cosmic Venom's design was such a letdown.

Because Anne Weying seemed the more bookish nerd-type, I think her webswinging would in fact at first be like Batman's grappling hook where she would shoot out the symbiote towards a building and then she would zip towards the point she hit rather than swinging. She hasn't seen much of Spider-Man so she has no concept of what to do. MJ on the other hand would try to emulate Peter a lot except she would be just as showboaty or moreso and show off her TnA as she swung as it is in her DNA to be glamorous.

I really like when women are lit from below and they have shadows above their eyes when they have a shocked expression. Makes them cute, sexy, scary, and aesthetically dramatic all at the same time. Kinda like symbiote women.
If Spidey is one huge coming-of-age tale, what would that make Eddie's? He already came of age so to speak. He's had a wife and had things taken from him. So guess Venom's story is about picking up the pieces and finding new people to like and a new purpose that doesn't conform to conventions. In that respect, I think Eddie could be a leader as he always wanted power and respect. So he could stay as King in Black but Eddie wants to get his hands dirty as well. So I think Anne would be the matriarch of all symbiotes, nurturing them on the planet, while Eddie went out and waged war and gained territory, new hosts, negotiated with other aliens, etc. Also calling the symbiotes planet just "the planet" might be cool or maybe Obsidios. I dunno. Or no name at all.Anne would also give Eddie the cold shoulder for a while even if she was the one who committed suicide.

I know Ock has the Sinister Six but Venom could have used the supporting cast angle more on his own to provide further contrast where Eddie is the religious cult leader equivalent and they are even closer together than Peter's supporting cast. Y'know how superhero video games always kinda want to have that gameplay loop of being a civilian and then changing into your costume to then do superheroics and then go back to civilian for some story moments? Well what if the open world had mechanics where you can still be disguised as a civilian and you have to find places to change without revealing your identity and then get to the crime in progress? I believe if a game world had some major areas where you can enter into indoors and then have parts where you can sneak off to change, that might introduce some cool elements. Changing into a civilian could give you access to stores and certain areas. Having an instant swap mechanic like a symbiote could help streamline that process. Maybe I'm ignoring something big though.

Speaking of symbiote clothes, what a wasted opportunity by Cates to not have Anne in the Agent Venom costume to actually have a design more in line with the assassins from HL1. What a missed opportunity. Also I am surprised women have not been writing Venom. Ann Nocenti I think is one of the few who did. Women would be trying to figure out how to make the most sexy and baller design for Eddie, methinks. But I dunno I guess women don't care about porn.

Ignoring coom reasons/motivations and focusing solely on Venom/Spider-Man mythos as well as storytelling potential, what would you think if the symbiote suddenly became mostly treated as entirely female?
I like Jack O' Lantern as a gag villain who then is replaced by a more ruthless Jack who forces Macendale out and then becomes a Venom villain. Doesn't need to be like Remender's Jack but something more sinister yet whimsical is good as a rival to Venom alongside Shocker. Also Shocker blasting She-Venom revealing that the host forgot to wear panties or is wearing embarrassingand/or sexy lingerie or cute cartoon print panties would be based.
