When I owned a small store back in 2017, I befriended a man who came often and was always with his daughters.They sold second hand toys in some of the other stores, so I usually gave money to the girls so they could run and buy some, while I chatted with their dad.They always bought LPS things, then ran back to my store and showed them to me, all excited with huge, sparkly eyes.Every single time I pretended not to know what they were showing me, because I didn't want to seem geeky, much less like a creep.Not in front of them, not in front of their dad. I even said absurd shit, while they showed me a toy similar to this, like>Oh, is that a little pony? It's a my little pony, isn't it!And they went>Nooooooooo! It's not a pony, it's a little dog from Littlest Pet Shop! Her name is so-and-so, and she does this and that and her best friends are blah blah blah!I love when kids explain their toys. It's always so cute.
