So...what do you think, /co/?
I'm not seeing it.
>>151881647all middle sliders effect
Yeah i see it. Hes riding a razors edge between handsome and ugly. Its hard to make a "normal guy" in animation thats not too idealized or uglifiedBut..there is another variable
>>151881810That other variable is this guy
>>151881830And his animated incarnation. Who then became the father of all these big nosed pencil necked cartoon guys who are>not as brave as the brave guys>not as smart as the smart guys
>>151881647was the movie any good :3?
>>151881647I like the big nose/long face character design, so I don't have an issue with it. Although, the Spies in Disguise guy and pic related were supposed to feel like Tom Holland due to him voicing them.
>>151881895>>151881848These two characters jave the same face. Like not the same archetyoe but look like the same person.
Bump

>>151881848>>151881895I think we need to remember that "lovable dork who lacks in masculinity and charisma but has a heart of gold and ends up proving himself as he either gets the girl/comes of age/wins the big competition/sticks it to the man" was the go-to comedy plot that the current generation of creators grew up on.Ironically enough, >>151881830 was basically an anti-movie built around making fun of it by just having an exaggeration of that character going through his day to day life with not much of anything special happening.Didn't "deconstruct" anything or tear anything down but just let the plot be far more natural
>>151881647By this logic we're all just derivative copies of Adam and Eve.
>>151884374>Muhh le current generationLet's get you to bed, grandpa.
>>151884384The anime characters? Maybe.
