It was the proper balance of cute/lewd, which is better than outright lewd or overly cutesy.

I just edited what I thought the artist truly wanted to draw due to the lewd nature of the comic if there was no editorial censorship involved.However, those hotpants are hanging on by a thread on the actual page anyway due to the damage from the battle. This, paired with Kara seemingly going commando, those loose, tattered bottoms are probably sliding down her legs by the time she stands up on the next page here. She'd have revealed her super-rump to the crowd either way, (un)luckily Lena throws a new costume at her for a magical girl transformation before Kara has her bare nether regions exposed to any onlookers. It's mostly just a holiday about getting together, which is true for most sane families. Plus it brought Princess Shark to dinner so who cares about the rest.
