It being unfair was the point. The Killer Bass usually did worse than the Screaming Gophers because they treated their own worse and had their own kool kids klub. As bad as Heather and as useless as Noah were, the rest of the team got along well, especially with Leshawna holding them together. Courtney was always safe because Duncan fell for her. If you weren't in Duncan's gang of him, DJ, Geoff, Bridgette, and Courtney, you were always at risk of being eliminated, especially if you were a nerd easy to be picked on like Harold.
