Molly's deal is something that ties into the later plot of campaign 2 that wasn't there in the initial part of the story. No idea about Yasha, since in the camaign, she hung out with Molly at the circus but was also regularly absent because her player was often busy with her acting roles. Kinda like how Pike was absent a lot.
