I think there’s a good chance Hank could become that hero. He even has the alternate personas needed to pull off something like Matches Malone

Jonas wasn't a superhero but he was a globe-trotting adventurer who oozed charisma and that fits Hank pretty well. He'll never get big-boy enemies like Jonas had, but at the same time Jonas' ego blotted out the son. Jonas wanted to be on magazine covers and bang playboy bunnies and built a home the size of a small city; Hank would be happy with some rando on the street recognizing him, a girlfriend who matches his energy and an apartment.Dean will become famous and make a ton of money by discovering the cure for male pattern baldness and will continue his "super science but without the spandex-clad sociopaths" work and back up his brother.Dermott will be Hank's sidekick/bodyguard.

>>151891844they got warned off the Jonny Quest stuff early on, which is why a lot of the names changed - WB/CN didn't want the show seen as a continuation in an "official" sense in the way that SGC2C or Sealab 2021 had becomeon top of that JQ is not a particularly well-known show today - it was superceded by its own remake in the 1990s but that was never particularly popular, so they probably felt that having mined the main seams of comedy relating to the original, they were in danger of becoming incomprehensible longer-term (with their very long production periods) as audiences changed over time
