If there's a silver lining it's that they are rescanning the original trilogy non-special-edition versions for a 50th anniversary release, so the laserdiscs and fanmade 35mm scans will no longer be the best sources for those.

What was wrong with this one? It pretty much builds on the ideas they wanted for the movies, and yes that includes the black Robin. Marlon Wayans was cast but had his contract bought out by Joel Schumacher. Yeah, Shorty from Scary Movie was almost a Robin.

Sam Hamm is a hack and Tim Burton was right on setting him back when they worked together since his ideas are just flimsy sociopolitical drama that barely touches the original material and Batman is just an afterthought in "his own" story. The sequel is even worse.

As long as she's been around artists have tried to reinvent her look over and over again. She has had a LOT of designs and many of them had pants, but in the end the simplicity of the white leotard and red cape always win out.
