Ragatha worked real estate before she showed up, she was likely part of the company that was setting up to resell the property before it ended out totally abandoned. If the Jax homeless allegations are true he probably squat in the place for a night.Like it's obvious there's not actually 20+ people in stasis tubes in the basement, and most of them are abstracted. There's not some person, or AI system walking around stealing people after the headset knocks them out, and their physical appearance isn't really based on their mental state, so why do they abstract when they go crazy? It's probably just them mindbreaking and realizing they're not real, and then they gain access to codeline commands and it fucks them up because they don't actually know what they're doing. Caine can fix corruption, and change people's minds. Why can't he just make them not-crazy anymore? They probably even reset and do all this over again once everyone abstracts, and they've been doing this forever.There's only 2 episodes left and they've made no progress towards actually escaping at all. What do they even have time left to do? As if they'd actually have an escape plot come in and eat the last hour of content after they just did a fakeout escape plot in the first place. Ohhh I just realized what the endgame will be.Just get Caine to stop deleting NPCs. Gummi was proof that they have as much emotional/intellectual potential as the humans. And the humans are, presumably, functionally the same as them - just data. Copied data with no continuing attachment to a physical meat body. If Caine stops treating NPCs as disposables, they could conceivably form a large, thriving, unpredictable world, just like IRL. Full of sentient entities with growing minds and emotions and relationships. Their world will stop being constrained to the tininess of the tent.
