I had the idea of making a bunch of pngs of diferent assets, like bangs, arms, heads, and then code some tool in godot to composite it and color it.

And make diferent angle versions, so I can rotate it 360 degrees.

That way I could sort of reuse the 2D assets to quickly create a newer drawing.

Basically like a 2D koikatsu.

Wonder if such idea already exist to make comics.

3d models have been a thing for a while and if you do some searching you'll see that people have been making comics with koikatsu or whatever other 3d posing program there are out there. Clip Studio Paint also has a lot of 3d model support.

you still need to draw over and over if you use a 3D model.
