When I was a little kid and the other kids wanted to play X Files, I got confused and thought they meant X Men. I assumed that Scully and Mulder were X Men characters I just wasn’t familiar with, and that Mulder must have the ability to mold things somehow. I did not know what Scully’s super power was. Looking back, I don’t know what sort of pretend game the kids were even trying to put together modeled around pretending to be the government agents from X Files. I guess somebody was supposed to pretend to be an alien.

There was an episode, of I think Darkwing Duck, where the villain's suit kept changing colors between scenes. I thought the joke was that he was so rich and fancy, he would keep buying a new suit every scene.It was just an animation error.
