The story hinges on the fact that Edgar doesn't understand how long a cat lives or that as their caretaker he would be responsible for the money.

>>151915430It's a very relaxed and charming little film I always enjoyed as a child. Not particularly complex, but there's nothing particularly wrong with it and it's just in general pleasant.
All my childhood I watched it on a pirate VHS with one man Russian voice-over over Italian dub and now English voices sound super weird to me. Italians did the songs way better.
