It could’ve been *much* worse considering the quality of the average 2000s cartoon, still glad it’s a part of my childhood.That said I’m convinced all the shit it catches nowadays mainly stems from how episodic comedies seem to really piss off the cartoon community nowadays because it conflicts with them wanting to look mature by wanting serialized stories, usually the animation is cinema but only mainstream kids/family movies types
