>>151923515It’s really hard to say. Vivziepop is not a particularly good writer. There’s a reason why Stella, as a character, is as popular as she is: Vivzie unintentionally wrote an “antagonist” who is sympathetic. People with even the most basic media literacy, who can distinguish between what the narrative of a story is trying to depict and what actually happening, can see that, despite the show wanting to treat her as a villain, she’s not really worse than most of the cast. That’s why she’s popular: she’s a character the show calls a “villain” despite not being any worse than her cheating husband or his serial killer friends.Because of this I feel like there’s a high chance of people, especially here, hating her if the dynamics swapped. A cheating bird wife who is getting dicked on the side or in some lesbian romance makes her far less sympathetic than canon Stolas, especially if the personalities are maintained. Stella is assertive, while Stolas is the submissive one. People here would hate her a lot for obvious reasons, and I wouldn’t blame them. Like, this isn’t some edgy porn where all women are fundamentally promiscuous whores and Greg McCuckold’s only purpose in life is to watch and then clean up after all is said and done; this is a drama for a good chunk of the time, and you can’t have that kind of “everyone-is-a-caricature” type writing, and expect people to take this seriously.The only way I can see people not hating her outright is if Vivzie tries to make Stolas the sympathetic party again and bungles it to the point that everyone just goes, “Actually, she’s right to do it,” and the only issue they have with the relationship is that they wasn’t the guy to cuck Stolas. You need to make Stolas the most hated character in the entire series. But for that you'd need so many "WTF were you thinking moments" that I don't think even Vivziepop would fumble that hard.
