It's pretty funny that Marvel literally had Ryan Coogler in their pocket and yet he still went on to make his own vampire period piece movie on his own, using props originally created for the Blade film.

So some racial component is obviously going to be a focus if he does Blade, which after his comments on CGI, seems a bit unlikely though Disney money is always there until the MCU falls apart alongside Star Wars.
