Actually, I kind of like the idea of a role-swapped Beauty and Beast with Gaston and Lefou as the plucky heroes who take on a crazy woman who convinces a beast and his magical servants to do her evil bidding.
I always find it weird how incels/lonely guys relate to and defend Gaston so much. You'd think they'd identify more with the shut-in freak who's really a nice guy deep down, but they idolize the guy who would definitely bully them. Legit LeFou psychology.
