Do you agree?
South Park peaked in season 3. By season 6 it was on the decline. It was only good for a very short window of time. Best episodes are the rainforest and Korn Scooby Doo parody.
>>151932382Marjorine's a good one. People often say either Chef's death or You're Getting Old killed it
>>151932318The carrot's not even fresh
>>151932417What does that mean?
>>151932423NTA, but the thing they are using to entice viewers is in itself stale and dated at this point, and even the self-depreciative meta humor is old har at this point.
>>151932433I can see what you mean
>>151932318This show is highly satanic because it makes fun of our lord and saviur DONALD DUCK TRUMP
>>151932464I never said anything about that
any criticism of the show is just met with people accusing you of being a butthurt trump supporter instead of a person who finds this shit unfunny
>>151932764I would know first hand
Randy's entire "yeah a lot of people told me tegridy was a bad idea, but I made a lot of money so from my point of view this was pretty sweet" dialogue to Sharon is so very obviously metacommentary, as is a significant amount of the dialogue since season 20 right up to the current season's "I'm not just gonna sit around waiting to die". This isn't 'dangling that they know how bad its gotten' in their face, they were taking the piss that southconfessionpark is unamused.
>>151932913Well, they have a right to be unamused
>>151932382>South Park peaked in season 3FPBP.>>151932764>any criticism of the show is just met with people accusing you of being a butthurt trump supporterI'm not saying the shoe fits universally, and obviously this is completely anecdotal, but I have a friend who has been the biggest South Park/Trey+Matt shill basically since Cannibal the Musical. I've never heard him so much as criticize the series or anything Trey and Matt have done, EVER. Until they started making fun of Trump, who he voted for in every recent election. Now he thinks South Park is rubbish, and he brings it up constantly, unpropmpted, because he's afraid people will remember how much he's sucked the show's dick since 1997 and think he still aligns with its opinions.
>>151932979Yeah, there is some overlap, but it's not absolute.Did he like S20?
>>151932979nah you're a larper
>>151932764>any criticism of the show is just met with people accusing you of being a butthurt trump supporter instead of a person who finds this shit unfunnyI'm perfectly willing to say the show isn't as funny as it used to be; it has a solidly funny episode once, *maybe* twice a season anymore, and I find myself skipping through large chunks of weaker episodes a lot now.... all that being said, it's really hard to take all the "I'm not butthurt about trump" posters seriously when 90% of their rants about the show end in them bawling to LEAVE TRUMP ALONE! LEAVE HIM ALONE!!
>>151933101It's incredibly easy to see if they aren't a Trump supporter, though
