>tfw Louie Anderson's real father was an abusive drunkie and not a funny WW2 vet as he portrays him in the cartoon
>>151934099he's pretty toxic in the cartoon too. You can see the shades of what he was inspired by
Louie's mom refusing to ever allow a loaded gun in the house makes more sense now.
It always strikes me as weird that people shit on the boomers but not the greatest geners who raised them and gave them generational trauma.
>>151934282>That story about his one brother about to be arrested
>>151934099He was a dick in the cartoon too, he just didn't drink and they gave him golden heart moments, but otherwise Louie was ripping on him for good reason even in the latter seasons. He was still funny as a clown, I've had these kind of clowns in real life, but I would sooner laugh while punching them than ever mistake them for good guys. Ironically they both didn't need to drink to be angry all the time and careless dicks.
>>151934192>>151934830Many things that are funny on TV are not so much in real life. Like my dad embodies the worst traits of Richard Watterson and post-cancellation Peter Griffin, it was hell growing up but I can still find the cartoon characters funny.
>>151935328Fucking hell, that sounds ass.
>>151935328That's so true. I still love Malcolm in the Middle even tho it hits too close to home
>>151934289It's turtles all the way down.
Is that why he wasY'know
>>151936160He was a good man, leave him alone.
>>151936160what?
>>151935328Holy fuck, man I'm sorry to hear that.My dad was this weird mix of Red Foreman and that boss/parent who wants to be your friend.Making comments about women who walked in front of us' asses or tits, showing me movies I didn't get because he couldn't be bothered to watch a movie I wanted to see.But then when it came to homework he'd act like he was gonna beat my ass.>inb4 based dadNothing based about a dad who isn't there as a father and is trying to be a friend more than anything else because he doesn't have any.
>>151936291Eh well y'knowA little creative
F is for Family for kids.
>>151935328Shut up, Meg.
