Main character’s car breaks down in a small town while she’s heading out to visit her brother. She discovers that the entire town has been forcefully mutated by a mad scientist named Doctor Dirk.
While there a fire mutant named Brooke lets her crash at her house and gives her a beaver disguise so that the townspeople won’t kill her out of the fear she’ll tell the government. Brooke is also trying to track down and kill Doctor Dirk as is most of the vengeful town
