The earliest form of Betty Boop and Pluto(Rover) the dog are now public domain
Not yet, wait a few hours
>>151946036I never got why people like Betty boop, she has a big head that's about it nobody just a big ass head. Although from the old cartoons for voice actress was pretty good if it was a girl maybe it was a dude I don't know I'm going to Walmart right now because you buy cat food and litter. I have no friends my only friends are cats they're very cute. Yep the world sucks I thought I'd have some kids by now but didn't happen kind of just a weird incel loser here. But at the same time I'm better off in a lot of people so it's a give and take oh boy I can't wait

>>151946036Too early anon
>>151946036so only dog betty boop?
>>151946094Yeah man the shape of her head always bugged me a bit, especially that 1932 one. But her cartoons are pretty fun actually.
>>151946036Blondie and Dagwood will be public domain too
>>151946137Yes
>>151946073How many more hours now?
>>151946132True
>>151946036Gonna say this again but out of all the note worthy character entering the public domain Betty is probably the least interesting. Like she doesn't have the continued cultural relevance like Mickey or Popeyes, and she's not really that unique either. I can't really think of a scenario where an expie of her wouldn't work better in a work than using her instead, like outside of just being put in crowd shots in loony tune and Disney shorts I can't see any real use of her being publicly available.
Early versions of Pluto, Blondie, Dagwood, and Flip the Frog are also entering the public domain
>>151946094>I never got why people like Betty boopShe's a dish!
All 38 Flip the Frog shorts will enter the public domain.
>>151948008>out of all the note worthy character entering the public domain Betty is probably the least interesting. How can you say that when Pluto is also entering?
>>151946094She's a redhead
>>151948118Not all of them, only the first six
>>151948973How did redheads get so popular? Is it an american thing?
