>Wants the throne for selfish reasons in Thor, then learns humility.
>Declares himself the protector of Earth in The Avengers.
>Declines the throne to keep protecting Earth in The Dark World.
>Realizes the other realms need his help too and leaves Earth in Age of Ultron.
>Sad about his father’s death and determined to save his people in Ragnarok.
>Angry about his brother’s murder and determined to stop Thanos in Infinity War, but fails.
>Depressed overweight alcoholic in Endgame, but ultimately regains his sense of worth, abdicates the throne to return to his old ways.
>Goes back to space adventures in Thor: Love and Thunder, using humor to cope with his growing sense of purposelessness, until he finally finds his calling as a father.
>Returns to action older and wiser in Doomsday, determined to save the universe and survive to see his daughter again.

There's undeniably a lot of behind-the-scenes course-correction at play, but I feel his narrative progression is pretty logical still.

Where will his character go in Thor 5?
>>
>>151946068
It's not his narrative progression that's the issue. It's the writing become less & less mature just for them to try course correct last minute because they're desperate for this big hit to make money.

WILL there be a Thor 5??
>>
>>151948793
If there will be George Miller better direct.
Miller wants to work on another movie with Chris Hemsworth since Furiosa

>abdicates the throne to return to his old ways.
This is where it gets inconsistent and retarded but you already knew that.

Im so sick of this new shill effort to try and salvage Thor after waititi and the russos ruined him.

Black dyke Valkyrie was retarded. Her then being a female “king” was retarded. Thor immediately sharing screen time with his ex is retarded (no Jane Thor wasnt worth adapting).

Stop this nonsense.

I’ve noticed this too. Shills are in full gaslighting mode of “t-t-the character isnt ruined actually it was just one lackluster movie with L&T. But it wasn’t a plot or writing problem at all.”

we can only hope

Honestly bringing back Thor and Steve and blah blah blah doesnt interest me.

I haven’t watched anything since endgame. Byrnes sensational she-hulk and FF runs are my favorite marvel comics of all time. They ruined she-hulk adapting slott’s, making her hulk form too muscular and writing it for single 35 year old women. They ruined FF hiring an old ugly Susan, old Mexican reed, ugly ass Johnny and giving thing the worst voice ever.

Unless they fire and replace all five of those roles via multiverse shenanigans I will never be watching another MCU project.

Sif and the warriors three were shafted to silence criticism of the jew overlords. Prove me wrong.

He's highly satanic because he's a FALSE god

I could give a fuck less about Steve and think centering the narrative around him might suck, but I do like them trying to fix Thor.
>>
>>151948793
No.
Why someone would want to see that?
>>
>>151950283
Why? Hes had more solo films than any of the: and the only good one was the first. Only because it’s simple.
>>
>>151946068
Could be worse. Could be MCU Banner/Hulk.

Why samefag? Let alone to deny the obvious

I overall detest the pace and writing, but in the reluctant defense of the series a lot of shit changed suddenly from Thor 1 to now, family and friends dead, home gone, encounters with lesser, equal and higher beings.
It would be more weird if Thor was completely static through all that given his introduction showed him to be easily rattled.
>>
Why couldn’t Thor have been king and still do his adventures for an individual movie, then in between movies you can just assume he’s ruling his people and doing more standard king shit?

Seems like an odd choice. Like when they refuse to let a superhero have a long term romance or kids because that somehow ties them down too much
>>
>>151950621
Also while I’m not a fan of MCU Valkyrie at all. I don’t see why thor couldn’t be king but have some regent rule in his place if they want him to do the whole space travelling thing
>>
>>151950609
Literally just restating what you said in OP. Perfecting the script?
>>
>>151950744
Not OP, and I was more honing on how the many changes happen rapidly outside a series so he couldn't stall to develop further.

It's like how Peter Parker starts out fascinated by so much as Bucky's arm and Ant Man's size change in CW, then finds himself casually traveling across interstellar space with a Sorcerer in IW, then is completely casual about multiverse by his third, and technically the second, movie before he's even got into college.
None of the characters have time to believably process the behavior and reactions in a shared movie universe because of the constant leaps.

Black Widow's movie had to be a feature length flashback because she was already chronologically dead by the time it was released.
>>
>>151950898
>things happened so it’s okay he’s completed inconsistent and made a black dyke into “king” and never learned to grieve or have perspective despite being 100s of years old.
>>
>>151950204
FF was my last straw.
