What are some comics and cartoons you read and watched for the first time and enjoyed in 2025?Not necessarily stuff that came out during that time
>>151953741Got into Silver/Bronze Age comics this year. Really loved Fantastic Four, Defenders, and Doctor Strange. Iron Man and some early X-Men were good too. I really wish X-Men hadn’t gotten so edgy about the mutant struggle, it took away from the smaller character moments Claremont was always good at.

>>151953741mad god's a pretty cool movie, if you got the stomach for it
>>151953741Lots of manga.
>>151957475I haven’t read his later stuff. He probably got worse. But he was always much better at smaller character moments than big grand epics in the 70s-80s. Brood Saga is the only time he really pulled the latter off, imo, and it’s partly because it gave those smaller moments a lot of emphasis (Nightcrawler and Wolverine on the ship, Xavier’s reveal at the mansion, etc.).
