There was another new hire a few months before I showed up and the other new guy has been completely accepted by the others while I'm only kinda sorta pals with one other guy at work. And on top of that it just sucks to be there working while 3-4 other people are standing there not too far from where I am talking about plans that involve everyone else but me. ( because it happened to me) you kind of HAVE to force yourself on people. you have to invite yourself when they discuss plans. you gotta push yourself into their plan. bring sodas or chips or bring queso. that's the only way, because some of them might be thinking you don't like their plans or you don't wanna hang out .sounds exhausting. sounds embarrassing. sounds annoying. but it's the only way.
