An awful year for animation and the industry. More shit, more layoffs, rising threat of ai sloppa. What did you enjoy/dislike that came out this year? For me, it's Genndy Tartakovsky's dog sex movie
>>151954924Nezha 2 owned everything else hard this year, but it was cute to see an original film nobody cared about pre release be the biggest animated movie on streaming ever.
The Daffy and Porky flick is technically a 2024 movie. That was a much better year for animation. God, I'm drowsy.
>>151954949It flopped everywhere I go
>>151954924Space King and Bridge Kids once again prove the triumph of indie animation, as hollywood animation bleeds: pure excellence, wonderful year
>>151954924K-Pop is overrated IMO, Fixed and TDTEBU are where animation peaked this year, though I feel the Looney Tunes one was more fun than the latter, we need more modern day cartoonist-driven projects, or 2D animation in general.>>151954943Wasn’t that film submitted to last years Oscars? It’s criminal that it didn’t get nominated.
>>151954924Fixed was great. Haunted Hotel and Wylde Pak weren’t bad.
>>151954924After Clone High, KOTH, Phineas & Ferb, Animaniacs, Rugrats, X-Men, all other revivals/reboots in recent memory that were worse/different than the original in some way. Gumball returned with a bold question:What if the revival was exactly the same, from the animation to the writing?
>>151955099>Wylde PakIt's a shame that show's pretty much confirmed to be ending
>>151955169>It's a shame that show's pretty much confirmed to be endingWhen?
>>151955722There is a very strong implication in this post
>>151955981Damn, The show just aired not so long ago and its on it's way out.
>>151955099>Fixed was great.False
