Apparently it's been more than a thousand days since DC has had a black superhero ongoing series set in their main continuity

BASED!

DC stands for Discrimination Comics

It's kind of funny how DC is allergic to making black superhero ongoings and only giving them miniseries and the BHM specials (which they seemed to have stopped doing this year)
Like at least Marvel tries with Black Panther and Miles Morales (even if the former is currently an AU comic since the last 616 ongoing got canceled)

Miles can't have an ongoing last more than 42 issues
Anyways, the egregious thing for people is that Next Level is all about letting creators choose who they want regardless of popularity so the absence of Mr. Terrific, Vixen, etc getting a series raised eyebrows
Announcements aren't done yet but if the new Jonah Hex is formally announced (Scott already casually mentioned it twice) without a black series as well, DC's just walking into the Discrimination Comics jokes even more

You're those tweeters who posted this exact same thing there, huh

So they can't give black superheroes ongoings but they're giving the confederate a comic again? What level of 4D chess is this?
>>
Also didn't we see this exact same playbook in the 2010s?

Accuse DC of being racist
Demand DC do comics of diverse characters
People who accuse DC of being racist don't actually buy the comics
>>
black people dont buy comics, black people in comics dont sell. Simple as.

You have to add main continuity because Absolute Green Lantern exists.
Green Lantern Corps is mostly focused on John too.
Anyway DC kinda treats their sub-A listers like shit in general, as funny as "discrmination comics" is.
>>

Who the fuck cares about the main continuity? Also that has so many caveats to be true that it's basically worthless.

They also just did a Mr. Terrific limited series, so you have to add ongoing, it's a useless statement.
