>>151958313Copyright law is so dumb. Its set up so it lasts so long, that the people currently alive in any timeframe wont give much of a shit about the character offerings available. Even when I am an old man, shit from my childhood will be off limits, so I wont get to see any creative projects by those talented artists and animators once stuff from the 1980s and 1990s and early 2000s becomes public domain. It should expire much sooner than it does.

The original creators allowed and invented horrible ideas for the first Ninja Turtles comic. And later after the creators sold Ninja Turtles to Nickelodeon, well.....we got Rise and afterward Seth Rogen's bastardization.The Ninja Turtles have taken a real beating.
