Was there any way it could’ve been better?https://www.travelandtourworld.com/news/article/cartoon-network-hotel-closes-after-6-magical-years-dutch-wonderland-takes-over-in-east-lampeter-pa/
Sticky now, come on ya'll
Did anyone actually go to this thing? It was in the middle of nowhere Pencilvania
Sad day for the one kid in the world who would be excited to sleep in a hotel room themed around Tig N Seek.
Redpill me on Dutch Wonderland Inn
>>151963088I always wondered about the appeal of this hotel. Was it even close to an amusement park?
>>151963043>6 years>opened in 2020That's post-nu-nu-CN, would there be any good show headlining the building?
>>151963088>>151963231Wasn’t it a local amusement park group with a contract for the CN branding, not a CN owned thing? They ran a water park nearby and something else.
>>151963293Ok, now that makes sense. Been so long about reading about it that I forgot about the local water park part.
>>151963043What the fuck is this AI slop image in the article? It's obviously not even the same building. Is this what passes for fucking journalism now?>Travel and Tour World>A Venture of Keshan Infotech Pvt. Ltd.>Kolkata, West Bengal, IndiaAh, that explains it.
>>151963370CN Nanzoer isn't so bad, room stunk of cigs but it was cheap
>>151963203>Opened in the 70s, operated as a Ramada Inn and a Continental Inn>Right next door to Dutch Wonderland which is a children's amusement park with its own characters>Owners of the park (Palace Entertainment) bought the hotel in 2018, announced CN theming partnership (which is clearly for 5 years since this opened in January 2020) >Herschend buys Palace Entertainment and only wants to use its own properties, does not extend licensing agreement to theme it on the park itselfThat is about it. CN Hotel was a refurbishment adding themed panels and a few screens to a 70s era rural hotel
>>151963088I went with some friends a couple years ago. We live a couple states away so made a little trip out of it for like 2-3 days. The main building is pretty cool, costumed characters, gift shop, we bare bears cafe, restaurant with surprisingly decent food etc. but the actual rooms are just basic hotel rooms with like, a gumball pillowcase. The pool was alright too but it was very crowded. They occasionally host events and viewing parties but other than that there’s really not much to do. Honestly if I had know they would be closing down a meet 2 years after we went I would’ve yoinked a pillowcase or two.
