They say Bluey hsan't ended, but why does it feel like it has ended? I think the last time they released new episodes was two or three years ago.
They're working on the movie, The Sign had all the markings of being a series finale, Brumm is leaving, and overall hype for the show has pretty much flatlined.
>>151970831Is this a Gravity Falls situation? (We will end it before it gets stale) or Joe Brumm is just tired and wants to move on with other things?
horse show for zoomers
>>151971038The horse show was already for zoomers, anon...
>>151970843They are an independent studio contracted to the ABC, so I'd imagine they could set their own end date.
The young voice actors are growing up and their voices are changing. And Brumm said somewhere that they'd rather end on a high note, and running out of ideas for new episodes.
>>151971772That's a nice thought and all, but I worry they won't be able to stick to it. Bluey is a preschool cartoon juggernaut, and if the IP falls into the wrong hands or Brumm gets desperate for cash I fear we may end up with a Peppa Pig situation.
>>151970843Ideally. A short-lived show that resolves it's main narrative (when applicable) and ends on a high note will always be more fondly remembered than a show that floundered for even one season too long.
>>151971772>The young voice actors are growing up and their voices are changing. AI could help with this.
>>151972145>using machines to steal children's voices for the sake of continued profitI legitimately cannot think of a more Jewish thing than this.
>>151972167You mean "capitalist". Let's not pretend there aren't millions of people of all ethnicities who wouldn't hesitate to throw a child into an active volcano if it made them a dollar richer
>>151971038Isn't it more comparable to Veggietales? When I see someone praise horse show its usually a 40 minute video essay about a single episode and how its in import character development for yellow horse, with Bluey and Veggietales its more of just praising how wholesome it is and how it makes people wanna be better people. Also fans of it less likely to be depraved, like yes there are gonna be people that respond to me to prove a point but for the most part those fans want to at least fuck the parents.T. Horse show made me horny but Bluey and Veggietales do not

>>151970831I'd like to think that The Sign was the series finale, but the series will get a reboot after the movie. Bluey 2.0 incoming.
>>151973153>Bluey 2.0 incoming.That already exists
>>151970773>hsan’tSpeak English Jeet.
>>151970773Thank goodness this shit has ended.
>>151973956It's still going on
>>151974760It’s still going on with celebrities reading toddler books to kids. No thanks I am not in the mentally braindead fanbase.
They’re gonna stop aging up the kids, aren’t they?
>>151975409they're gonna replace their voice actors, they want their identities to be a secret anyway
>>151976125It's for the best, imagine how many people would be stalking them the minute they turn 18.
>>151970843>>151971772https://www.bluey.tv/blog/a-letter-from-joe-brumm/>I always said I wouldn’t keep making the show if I thought I couldn’t make any new season as good as the last. This would have been the case for me with a potential season four, so I’ve decided to take a break from my involvement in the TV series. In the event I can’t wrap my head around doing more seasons myself, The Sign will mark my TV finale for Bluey and I wrote it as such.
>>151976125One thing i’d really like out of Bluey continuing past what was clearly meant to be its conclusion would be the show gradually exploring different stages of childhood development. The characters have aged up since the show started, and I think it’s kinda pointless if they don’t continue to do so. It’s a parenting lesson almost as much as it’s children’s entertainment, and it’d suck if the girls got stuck at one static age and the audience never gets to see Chili and Bandit continuing to raise their kids past toddlerhood and facing all the challenges of their kids aging through more stages.Especially since it’d also mean Frisky can never get pregnant, and Brandy might get stuck in her third trimester forever.

>>151976254As a non-parent, I kept seeing the merch for this show and observed that it was super popular, so I bothered to check it out, watched a whole bunch of shows, and I was touched at the overall design seems to be about demonstrating to parents how to play with and relate to their kids. So that was encouraging to see.
