Post the absolute lowest moments of otherwise good characters

>>151973344Mordecai became a pastor?
Mordecai's scene is really bad but to me Benson acting like a manchild over a pet pig for an entire episode is on the same level of visceral secondhand embarrassment if not worse because of how he's usually portrayed
>>151973371Too bad Ice King didn't turn that cunt into obsidian bits.
>>151973405We aren't ants.
>>151973405why did he do it
>>151973344Look this scene was cringe but there's arguably worse examples of him being a bad person.
>>151973517How many times has he accidentally killed or almost killed Rigby? There's gotta be a list
>>151973517>>151973525I'LL KILL YOU!
>>151973517>all of this started because Mordecai was being a racist and shitting on afros
Dodie and the Head Lice.
>>151973734>Dodie>Good character
>>151973353Kys rigbytard
>>151973344Mordecai isn’t a “good” character by any definition of the word. He’s a terrible person, a terrible friend, a terrible boyfriend, and a complete loser who has nothing going on for him in life at all. Rigby is shitty as well but Rigby pulls himself up while Mordecai just remains as shitty as ever. The worst part about all of this is that he’s the creator’s self insert, so while other shows might use a character this shitty as a punching bag or have some redemption arc, Mordecai is instead treated as if his actions are “normal” level of awkward fuckup instead of the actual sociopathy that it is.
>>151973344Not screenshots but the WBB episode where Grizzly forces the dudes to pretend to be dogs to lives in a hotel
>>151973845Good character =/= good person
This scene made Marcy look like a yandere dyke on top of the pathetic excuses she made for kidnapping.
>>151973734The lice thing might be her worst moment in terms of how many people she was happy to screw over, but the impersonal nature of it compared to other stuff leaves me to disagree that it’s her lowest moment Also like the other guy said, implying that she has a high baseline is…definitely a bold assertion
>>151973413The later seasons writers really dropped the ball with everyone’s characterization. Compared to the early seasons, the show’s humor and writing devolved horribly.
>>151973517Yeah but I was watching the show for stupid shit like this, not because I wanted to see Mordecai have relationship drama.
>>151973413>Benson is clearly a cat guy>makes him adopt a pighuh
Benson was 100% correct here, but this was definitely his lowest point. Mordecai and Rigby were such assholeshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7AirZHAZ8g
The Frylock episode. You know the one.
>>151974022The legs one?
>>151974022The cancer episode, right
>>151974022>>151974048Oh god, Frylegs. I hated that episode
Nightmare mode: Isolate youself an actual low-point on this sumbitch
>>151974183>>151973405>>151973472and I hear you, but I insist Google Save Image is lying to me about image sizes.
>>151973983Ironically, Rigby and Muscle Man got better while Eileen, Skips, Fives, and Pops stayed pretty consistent.
the entirety of netflix voltron
>>151974183He didn't have a high-point to begin with (like all good Adult Swim characters)
Mordecai was never a "otherwise good character"
>>151973371Ice King could've won if he didn't try the giant mech and instead just went for a sneak attack using the steam and water to go around and surprise attakh FP
>>151974891He should've won anyway.
>>151973344I can't remember exactly where but I stopped keeping up with Regular Show after Margaret stopped appearing. Was Mordecai not with CJ at time of this?
>>151973360He began predicating the good word of our white lord, Jesus Christ. It deviated a lot from the typical trama and social commentary of the show, but I don't know why.
>>151974474Rigby and Muscle Man became less funny in the later seasons.
