Now that the dust has settled, what did we think of 2025’s superhero movies?
>>
>>151974413
I'm tired, boss.
>>
>>151974432
Why do you guys act like you're FORCED to watch these? Just don't if you lost interest and quit whining about them existing.
>>
>>151974501
I don't watch them. I'm tired they exist and that these companies keep failing to make good super hero movies.
>>
>>151974548
>I'm tired they exist

Why? How does that affect you specifically?
>>
I didn't watch a single one of them.
And apparently it looks like I didn't miss out on much.
>>
>>151974413
I actually liked the 3/4 of them. Loved Superman, FF was okay, and I was surprised at Thunderbolts. I didn't even bother with the Falcon movie.
>>
>>151974827
>I didn't even bother with the Falcon movie

Shame, it was better than Thunderbolts.
>>
>>151974413
Didn't watch, good, good, decent.
Not a bad year desu.
>>
>>151974413
A significant improvement over last year. 4 a year seems to be a good pace for superhero movies.
>>
>>151974772
Superman was great, the other three were pretty decent too.
>>
Ended up watching a camrip of Captain DO BETTER to test my piracy setup and out of morbid curiosity given nobody was rushing to defend it. Turns out they were, the national american religion made everyone go easy on it and it was much worse, The CW levels of shit. Never watching the other 3 but know they're shit too from both their directors and their defenders.
>>
>>151974413
Thunderbolts was good the rest was shit
>>
>>151976405
The Defenders weren't even in these movies.
>>
I liked Superman and Chainsaw Man. Fantastic Four was alright, but the visual setting carried it hard. Thunderbolts was boring, and i did not care about any of those characters, and it ended up bringing Sentry as some boring sad dude for him to become the next Hulk. Don't care about Falcon being Captain America, especially since he was being a douche at the end of Thunderbolts

>so what if the only major producers of super hero movies is bad! just don't watch it!
what if i want good superhero movies?
>>
>>151974413
Didn't watch the first two and not really planning on it.
>Superman
Fun enough, but I enjoyed the characters far more than the film itself.
>Fantastic 4
Carried hard by the set design, barring the fact they inexplicably only had two (2) street sets to represent the entirety of New York City. Got pretty dumb in the final act. The Surfer actually surfing through space was a great idea, but she doesn't do a whole lot outside that chase scene. Galactus was disappointing, wildly off in terms of character and I think a lot of my issues with the movie's third act retardation would be solved if they wrote him closer to the comics. Pacing and timescale is oddly disjointed, with about 2 or 3 major montages, and this is probably one of the very few MCU movies which would actually benefit from being longer. I never felt like the Four were interesting enough for me to care about them. I didn't empathise with any of them, I didn't laugh at them. Watched Rise of the Silver Surfer right afterwards and even though that's a massively flawed piece of blockbuster slop in its own right, I actually cared way more about their version of Johnny and Ben (and to a lesser extent Reed) because the performances and little displays of character were far more charming. The only good character moment in the entirety of First Steps was mid-labour Sue telling everyone to kill the Surfer.

>how does that affect you specifically
it's a symptom of the enshitification of culture, tranny.
>>
>>151974733
NTA, Wasted potential irritates me specifically, your arguments are a great example.
>>
I only saw Superman. Liked it.

>>151976595
>he was being a douche at the end of Thunderbolts

They deserve it for covering up Elaine's crimes for funding.

1/10

>thunderbolts
8/10

>superchud
1/10

>fantasticly bad 4
2/10
>>
>>151977080
thats a little unfair, they were all guilty in their own right
>>

>They deserve it for covering up Elaine's crimes for funding.
yeah that last little bit was really stupid especially the way it acted like she had somehow outsmarted them with that stunt, like they couldn't have just told the truth despite her introduction, but the rest of the movie was good
