do writers really?when has there ever been a more stupid, *completely out of character* pivot from hero who was on multiple super hero teams to villain for no fucking reason?how many times have other villains gotten a redemption arc after shit that was absolutely worse?why are sinister and apocalypse being made in to heroes even without a redemption arc? literally no one is asking for these things. they are not likable just because they're being hamfisted. the only thing people are asking for is good writing, and this is exactly the oppositethere are many reasons x-comics are shit, this is one of them
Beast had a long slide into villainy over multiple writers. Fraction, Ellis, Bendis, Lemire/Soule, Hickman, Percy.Apocalypse and Sinister are both villains. They were allies of necessity during Krakoa but that's been over for a while.
