Sorry if this is gonna derail the thread but would a dream watchmen game be best defined as a an SMT or Xcom type game? Where you just do RPG tactics in different scenarios and have a new story by Alan Moore himself?Maybe Dr. Manhattan is the final boss and he acts as the game's mechanism of rewinding moves to fix your mistakes or try different routes? It wouldn't have to be a complex story just a parable which is kinda what I see Watchmen as. Ozymandias is the utilitarian archetype, Rorschach the individualist, Dan and Laurie are commen people obsessed with nostalgia, and Comedian is the might makes right archetype.Also now that I laid the characters out like that, all of them are really reminding me of SMT3 and that game's characters/paths/endings.
