I'm totally fine with LGBTQ+ characters as long as they don't turn someone completely gay overnight that was always straight, and then label them bi when they really don't mean it. Hulkling and Wiccan have always been gay. Cool, like them. Calico and Jitter in X-Men, cool, makes sense. Like them. Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean? Complicated, but a decently told story of someone finding out they really did like the other gender, or at least that specific person.
