I honestly think it's a good movie apart from these two aspects. The story is simple enough that you don't need anyone talking the plot at you as it's happening but I guess they thought kids would get bored watching a mostly dialogue-free movie. Still, if you just appreciate the technical craft of animation it's top tier shit.
