Remy's family and community are all parasites; they only take from their host society, Remy's father (whose nose is gigantic) insists on keeping his people separate from the hosts, stating that they will only ever be persecuted and they must only ever keep to their own kind.Remy is the only one of his people who sees the beauty of true artistry, and not only appreciates it but wants to participate and contribute to it. Remy wants to INTEGRATE; to leave behind tribe in favor of a culture.Meanwhile, Gusteau's good name is degraded with literal goyslop: once a famous chef of French cuisine, his image is now reduced to selling "BBQ Dip'n Ribs" and "Burritos", the entropic dilution of his unique French culture into low-quality globalism. In the end, all these inferior dysgenic products are burned in the streets.
