>>152005866They had a full crew, though. I get the sense UAHP's production was mainly held back by the whole mixed-media approach that needed extensive trial-and-error to figure out. It's admirable that Hirsch wanted his next cartoon to be more stylistically ambitious, but he still fails to understand that when delivering a commercial product to a major company, you HAVE to meet deadlines. McCracken, Ito, JRG, and Mega Dong all did, so he's alone in this.

For what purpose? Did we really lose something good here or did Netflix realize it wasn't losing much and nipped it?

Is his contract with Netflix rumors to be ending this year? He has been with Netflix since 2018 and only credit he had was being an exclusive producer for Inside Job. Is he going to be free from Netflix anytime soon?
