He's just fiercely loyal to those he cares about. Doing basically anything to protect them and doesn't really care that much if others get hurt or die.

I've heard good things about the David Hine run which I think might be the last bit of it. I'm not 100 percent sure. Like I said, it's good but not mind-blowing. Witchblade is fun though and progressively gets better. I read Aphrodite a couple years ago and I remember liking it
>>152025744Read 1-40 which is collected in The Complete Darkness 1 & 2 if you're planning on buying. You also need to read Batman/The Darkness crossover because that actually has a major plot point. The comic will straight up tell you when to read it so don't worry about order. That was released in a trade with the Superman crossover a few years back.After 40 you can drop out. It gets worse for a while but it does get better again. I think 40 is a good off point if you don't want to commit to the rest of it.
