I was thinking that the only way Mike could get a chance to start everything over if moving somewhere far wasn't an option is him losing his memories (over an accident or something)... then I realized it wouldn't actually change anything. He'd still be stuck with the same useless ""friends"", and Lucy and Gus would be seething at the fact Mike would forget all the ~horrible~ things he's inflicted upon Lucy. Best case scenario, they'd just leave him alone; worst (and more likely) case scenario, Gus would constantly remind him (and/or his ""friends"") of his crimes and how much of a monster he is. Lucy would probably rejoice at the idea of having another chance with him (since he wouldn't remember Sandy anyway). With any luck, Mike would get this uncomfortable gut feeling that he should stay away from her as much as possible, but fundamentally, it still wouldn't change the core issue and could even make things worse.It's grim to think about how Mike's only shots at being happy again are either living far away from Roseville (and wherever the hell Sandy is) and make new friends there, or death.

I cant understand the reasoning behind some things Taeshi wrote lately... Like, Augustus wouldnt like Daisy... *because* he rejected Lucy? I feel like it's a weeeeird pressure on the character herself, like if before she was a nice looking girl with her big flaws, that doesnt like male attention (as Taeshi tried to write in her story), the author is implying now that she is THE best looking girl, top of the top, no flaws at all, or at least that Daisy fucking sucks and is inferior to Lucy, implying again that Daisy has all the rights to feel how she feels about Lucy, because if not shown Taeshi is ready to draw it in a BCI how even Sue wants to fuck her to the point of cheating to her own partner, pushing for this "never wanted attention that keeps happening" plotpoint..
