It was pretty awful, and some of the least believable reshoots I've ever seen.The Snyder Cut is also very heavily flawed and shares some of those flaws with the Whedon movie but at the very least it's cohesive.

They're both deconstructions of their central character that ends with reconstructing and cementing their "iconic" status by dying against some aspect of their past, the way they each affected "nerd culture" or however you'd like to refer to it are very similar, they both have some seriously unhinged fans (though the Snyderbros do have TLJ evangelists beat by a large margin), and also despite making movies that are arguably dogshit, both Snyder and Johnson seem like really nice, perfectly reasonable people.
