They're not gonna continue the story with comics unless they got Alex Ross to paint the series with real world puppets as references or resurrected Moebius from the grave to do the art or got some very prestigious artist from Europe who has multiple awards under their belt and at that point it'd be too expensive *just* for comics.

Lucas remains a complete blank slate who's sister has more character. Holly, Mike & Nancy's sister they never interacted with, gets more screentime than a lot of characters we know. The CGI got way worse. Vecna & the mindflayer are complete jobbers who die faster than Will's coming out scene. Which that is also a fucking stupid scene. It's the 80s. They would not be openly accepting of him choosing to be gay. Which the seasons literally starts with establishing the Will is the way he is because Vecna tentacle raped him.
